How did we select the oral presentations?

1.
Scientific Committee: The NIR2009 has invited a total of 57 researchers around the world to be our scientific committee, 4 to 8 members for each session. Click here to see the list of committee
2.
Selection: The abstracts will be arranged to proper Session. Then the authors’ name and affiliation will be removed, leaving only the country of the speaker. The abstract file will then be converted into pdf and sent to the referees of each Session for ranking.
3.
After getting the ranks from referees, the NIR2009 will calculate score for each paper; for example, Rank 1 might get 10 pts. Before calculating the average score for each paper, one highest score and one lowest score were removed (except Networking session due to limited number of referees).
4.
The selection of oral presentation was now based on the average score calculated.
5.
If your paper was not selected as full oral presentation (14 minutes) or flash oral presentations (4 minutes), you can contact the Conference-secretary to see your score.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  1. FULL ORAL PRESENTATION: 14 MINUTES SHARP Including discussion
  2. FLASH ORAL PRESENTATION: 4 MINUTES SHARP with maximum number of 6 ppt slides and NO discussion. The speakers can present their works as poster as well but need to contact the Conference Secretary in advance.
  3. Every presenters (Full oral, Flash oral and Poster) must submit their manuscript by Nov 12. Before the meeting, please send the manuscript to the Conference-Secretary via e-mail. At the Conference, there will be a counter to receive your manuscript. The page limit is 4-page and the editing will be kept at minimum level. The Guide for Author will be published soon. We aim to distribute the Proceedings within 9 months after the Conference.
